We're pleased to announce the recipients of the second round of the 2025 Vision Partnership Program (VPP). This round of awards will support planning efforts in East Marlborough Township, Londonderry Township, and Pocopson Township, reflecting a variety of projects that support Landscapes3!

East Marlborough Township's Unionville Village Master Plan

East Marlborough Township has been awarded VPP funding to help develop a Unionville Village Master Plan — a key next step in implementing the Unionville Regional Comprehensive Plan.

This planning effort will bring together stakeholders in an active public process to improve transportation safety, pedestrian networks, opportunities for small businesses in the village, connections to recreation spaces, pedestrian-friendly streetscaping and amenities, ways to activate public spaces to promote social connections, preservation of village and historic character, and environmental resilience. The plan will help East Marlborough Township and its partners enhance the village while maintaining the core features that define this historic area.

The VPP will fund the township's request for $46,000 towards the total project cost of $80,000.

Londonderry Township's Comprehensive Plan Update

Londonderry Township will receive VPP support to update its 2007 Comprehensive Plan, ensuring that the updated plan will align with Landscapes3, meet the requirements of the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code (Act 247), and reflect on successfully implemented accomplishments, as well as recognize new challenges.

The Township will use the Comprehensive Plan Update to continue building a sustainable and resilient community.

The VPP will fund the township's request for $44,556 towards the total project cost of $74,260.

Pocopson Township's Comprehensive Plan Update

And the third VPP award for this round will assist Pocopson Township in updating its 2014 Comprehensive Plan to be consistent with Landscapes3 and to update municipal planning policies and implementation initiatives.

The VPP will fund the township's request for $44,446.50 towards the total project cost of $74,077.50.

We look forward to working with East Marlborough, Londonderry, and Pocopson Townships as they advance these important planning initiatives! Overall in 2025, the VPP has provided $250,000 in funds to carry out projects throughout Chester County.

Details on the next round of the VPP will be announced in early 2026 on our website.
